Compulsory modules for Minor students (1st Year)

During the first year of studying minor students have to complete the following module with an exam:

-Language Skills L Language Skills for Minors (3 x 2 SWS + 1 AP) 11 CP

In order to take the exam in the Language Skills for Minors module students have to take the following classes:

-Foundations (Grammar)

-Foundations (Writing)

-Presentations

In order to take part in these courses students have to pass the OOPT.  
 

Minor students have to complete two out of the following three basic modules:

 

-Basic Module I Medieval English (2 x 2 SWS + 1 AP) 6 CP

-Basic Module II Linguistics (2 x 2 SWS + 1 AP) 6 CP

-Basic Module III Literary Studies (1 x 4 SWS + 1 AP) 6 CP

The Basic Modules I and II consist of two parts that have to be finished consecutively.


The Basic Module III has to be finished within one semester.

Please keep in mind that you will only be able to take classes associated with the basic modules you have chosen.  Minor students are not allowed to take an exam in more than two basic modules!
