Department of English and American Studies

The Department of English and American Studies comprises seven professorships in Linguistics, Medieval and Modern Literatures consisting of Modern English Literature, American Studies, Anglophone Literatures and Comparative Literature. Its 2000 students and over 50 faculty members make it one of the largest departments within in the humanities faculty at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf.
