- Information about the English and American Studies programme in Lecture Hall 2D | 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM with Dr. Christian Uffmann
When asked to create a short introduction video for the institute's Instagram account, Dr. Christian Uffmann decided instead to write a song in which he sang about his work. When the students in the corpus linguistics methods in pop music seminar heard the song, they decided to develop a choreography for it and perform it together. The song went viral, was covered in the press, and since then, he has become known online as "phonobro." As a playful final touch, he teamed up with the students to write an "optimal" Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) song, of course, with a wink!
