Reasons to study this program

Wide-ranging subjects and individual course of study

Comprised of eight modules, the Master's program gives you ample opportunity to tailor your course of study according to your interests. Alongside two mandatory courses, you may choose your subjects and your study focus in six modules from all courses offered in the institute for English and American Studies.

Alongside our interdisciplinary curriculum, two of the highlights and unique characteristics of the
Master's program are the Professional English and the Project module. Students benefit both from practicising their writing and oral presentation skills in seminars taught by language teachers, whereas the Project Module allows them to combine academic research and on-the-job training by organizing and advertising their own academic conference.

In fusing interdisciplinary approaches with job-relevant skills, the program enables students to deepen their knowledge and to prepare them for possible careers in e.g. academia, communication, journalism, writing and editing, public relations, teaching, HR, project and event management, work in NPOs/NGOs and translation, to name a few.

International orientation

Our partnerships with academic institutions in the UK (Abersytwyth, Leicester, Reading, Winchester), India (Mumbai), and the United States (Davis, California) provide opportunities to study abroad. If you need more information, please visit the undefinedstudy abroad website.
