Prof. Maria Takolander will record a lecture video on Contemporary Women’s Speculative Fiction in Australia, focusing on authors like Charlotte Wood, Alexis Wright, Carmel Bird, Merlinda Bobis, Kathryn Heyman and Evie Wyld.

We invite everyone to attend our screening of the video – while Prof. Takolander will not be present personally, participants in the event will get the chance to discuss the talk afterwards and also ask questions, which the organisers will forward to Prof. Takolander, who has kindly agreed to produce a second video as a response!
