Dear Students,

our library project "Reading America" is slowly but surely coming to an end. We, the American Studies Staff and the Book Club, warmly invite you to our communal reading event taking place on Wednesday, July 8th, at 6pm in the central library's lecture room (ULB). Come join us to talk about books on (and off) our "Reading America" shelf, discuss and debate reading as a critical practice, and share our thoughts on reading (in) America. You do not need to prepare anything and you do not have to have read every book on the shelf (or any for that matter)- everyone interested in talking about these books with their teachers outside the seminar room is welcome to attend!
